Navigating Transitions (Big & Small) – Tools for Parents

    3rd December, 2025

    12PM – 1PM AEDT

From the shift into school holidays and the swirl of Christmas, to starting kinder or primary school next year—our kids (and us!) move through countless transitions every day. This bite-size workshop explores why transitions feel hard for little and big nervous systems, and how to support them with calm, connection, and practical tools.

You’ll learn what’s really happening in your child’s brain and body during transitions, along with simple co-regulation moves to help with tricky handovers and goodbyes. We’ll explore practical scripts and visual routines that make change feel safer, and gentle planning ideas to ease holiday overwhelm and support smooth starts to the new year.

When Worry & Anger Take Over – Tools for Parents

    WED 5th NOVEMBER | 12 - 1 PM AEST

Big feelings don’t have to mean big blow-ups. In this practical 60-minute workshop, you’ll learn how to support your child through anxiety and anger with calm, connection, and clear next steps. We’ll cover simple co-regulation tools you can use in real time, firm-and-kind boundaries, and quick scripts to de-escalate and coach coping skills—so tough moments become teachable ones.

You’ll walk away with an easy plan to build frustration tolerance and a genuine feeling of competence in your child (and a little more steadiness in yourself, too).

This session is a collaboration between Anna (Peachy Parenting)—child psychotherapist and parent educator—and Jess (Raising Resilience), a mental health educator and parent consultant with years of experience supporting teachers and parents.

Join us live or watch the replay—either way, you’ll leave with tools you can use the same day.
